Here is a terrific and very scarce R.S. Prussia two handled Ostrich Vase. The vase measures just a shade under 7 tall and 4 from handle to handle. It features an ostrich set to a background of golden brown tones, which fade upward into a blue sky. The vase is done in a fancy mold and has intricate handles and features 6 undecorated jewels, 2 on the top and 4 around the bottom. CONDITION: Very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The vase is an unmarked example of R.S. Prussia or R.S. Poland.
Rarely ever seen are the RS Prussia pieces with the rich decorated "Dresden" decor. This find scarce Vase is a wonderful example of that decor. This is a beautiful Reinhold Schlegelmilch (RS) Tillowitz Art Deco Lustre Vase, marked with a green wreath below a star (as shown in the picture). A lovely Hand Painted Vase by RS Prussia of two Parrot's. This Vase is Hand Painted. It is Marked on the bottom. It has the green or maybe it is a blue Star & Wreath mark with Tillowitz below. There is also another mark under the glaze that looks like it is the artist's name. It start's with a M but I can't really read it. See Photo. The Vase stand's at 6" Tall. It 3 1/2" Wide. This is the scene of a farm house with the farmer out front and cows and trees in the back ground. This Vase is unmarked. it stands 6" tall and 3 1/2" wide. It has two handles where the gold is worn off. The rim or mouth of the vase has some paint wear also. There are no chip's, crack's, hairline's crazing or restoration's. Here is a scarce R.S. Poland double handled crowned cranes vase. The vase is decorated with two crowned cranes and is done in soft gray and cream tones. An antique porcelain vase showing a lovely center portrait of the Woman in Daisy Crown which is considered a scarce portrait on Prussia porcelain items. I have for your consideration a fantastic vase bearing the Pickard overglaze decorating mark 14 (circa 1930). The vase also bears the RS Prussia mark which speaks to the shape and mold. It is signed by the listed Pickard and Limoges master artist Curtis Marker. Marker was born in Ohio and came to work for Pickard in Chicago when he was only 23 years old.
