This is a beautiful sterling silver jelly or preserve spoon, made by George Shiebler in the Gipsy pattern in the 1880s. The handle has a lovely floral, ivy-like pattern that reaches all the way to the bowl. The gilt, fluted bowl has a scalloped edge and gorgeous bright-cut detailing. This spoon is in excellent condition and the pattern is still crisp and clear. This spoon measures 7 1/8" x 1 3/4". It weighs 42 grams, or 1.35 Troy ounces. This is a striking sterling silver filigree jelly server. The long bowl of the spoon is gilt washed with a matte finish, the handle is beaded and the interior filled with beautiful filigree work. This measures 7" in length x 1 1/4" wide and weighs 27 grams. In perfect condition it is marked "Sterling" and also carries a small flag with an H inside; hallmark for Watson Co. from Attleboro, Massachusetts and established in 1874.

This is a Vintage Sterling Silver Jelly Server in the "Mount Vernon" pattern by Lunt. I recently acquired this at a local estate auction. It is clearly marked Sterling / Pat.11.29.05 and has the Lunt Company hallmark on the back. It is in great condition with only very minor surface marks. No monogram or monogram removal. The pattern is crisp, clear and strong. It measures 5 5/8 inches in length. I have several other pieces of this pattern in my shop A Chic Antique.

The spoon has a raised rim on one side to keep the jelly on it. The front has "A Century of Progress 1833-1933", an image of a Chinese temple, and the Carillon Tower building.
