This is a charming and delicate small compote. It is made of lavender glass . The ball connecting the stem and bowl is peppered with gold. I am pleased to offer this lovely Cambridge Crown Tuscan #SS10 Nude Stem Sea Shell comport, c 1949-1950s. The stem of the compote is shaped as a standing nude holding a seashell. It measures 5.5" high and the shell is 5.25" wide. Cambridge made 2 sizes of this compote, and this is the smaller and much harder to find version.
