Fancy ruby glass pitcher with fluted rim and ribbed handle. The applied enamel flowers are featured on one side with a band of blossoms all around. Circa early 1900's. Featuring inverted thumbprint design. Glass is in excellent condition - nice, strong colors on the enameling. A faint trace of gold gilt banding is still visible. Measurements: 9'' tall, 5 3/4'' wide at the top, 16'' diameter.

This stunning and very large antique tankard style pitcher was made by Duncan Miller in the Button Arches pattern. It is ruby flashed or ruby stained and etched with the initials JB. The Button Arches pattern is common, but these large pitchers are rare. This Early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) pitcher dates to around 1900. This item is an unmarked ruby crackle glass pitcher with attached handle and broken pontil on the bottom. The piece is 6 3/4" tall, 5 3/8" spout to handle, 3 3/4" across the top, by 3 1/2" across the bottom. The pinched body of the piece is crackled with the upper rim and attached clear handle being solid glass. The spout is folded down from the top edge in graceful lines.
