A vintage pressed glass pickle dish featuring a starburst pattern. We see panels of daisies and diamond panes extending out from the base. The center shows a diamond pattern with a daisy in the center. We have not identified a manufacturer but will continue to investigate. We would place this in the 1930's to 1940's for a manufacturing time frame. Measuring 7.75" long and 4.25" at the widest we do find one of the teeth on the rim that has damage. This item is a pickle dish from Fostoria Glass in the Century pattern number 2630 manufactured from 1949 until 1982. the dish is 1 3/4" deep, 8 3/4" long, by 4 1/8" wide, The piece has a wave like upper rim typical of the Century pattern. I have for you this original piece by Adams & Company in their Palace pattern which is the original Moon & Star pattern. AKA: Star and Punty, Chapman & Star & Bullseye. Made in 1888. This is the Pickle Dish and is 7 7/8 inch long, 4 3/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inch deep. There are 3 tiny nips along the inside edge which are hard to see but can be felt.

The longer one measures 12" in length, has cut out portions and is painted a light blue with old transfers of wild roses. The bottom is marked GERMANY. The shorter one measures 10" in length and also has a cut out handle on each end. The transfer pattern here is pink forget-me-nots. The bottom is marked BAVARIA.
