Unique handmade stoneware artisan olive/pickle or strainer spoons. The bowl sections were thrown individually on the wheel. The handles are made separately by extruding long coils, cutting& joining them to the bowl section during the leather hard stage, then the holes are cut. They then go through a slow drying process to help prevent the handle warping, the pieces are very fragile at this stage. They are bisque fired, glazed & then fired again. The glaze finish is rich dark textured blue/green & shiny off
