Here are two really cute salt and pepper shakers. They are in the shape of windmills with trees and bushes growing next to the windmill itself. The designer, in a moment of practicality added a handle to each windmill for ease of use, giving them a touch of whimsy. They are a pure bright white with a blue transparent glaze on the roof, trees and the blades. The bottom is marked "made in occupied japan" for a bit of history thrown in. They are 2" high, 2" long and 1 1/2" deep. They are in excellent condition

This tiny tea cup & saucer was made circa 1945-1952 during the occupation of Japan. The saucer measures 4 1/4" diameter; cup measures 2 1/8" diameter x 2 1/4" high x 2 3/4" wide from lip edge to handle. The cup and saucer are swirled with gold rimmed edges. Both have painted floral motifs. They are both marked Norleans, Bone China, Occupied Japan. They are in very good condition.
