Items marked 'Occupied Japan' were produced during the period from the end of World War II until April 18, 1952, when the occupation ended. By no means was all of the ware exported during that time marked 'Occupied Japan'; some as marked 'Japan' or 'Made in Japan'. This grouping of items are all from that era. This lovely cup and saucer is marked Japan. The cup and saucer are hand painted. There are panels of a lovely bright aqua that alternate with floral panels. There is nice gilding between the panels and around the rim of the cup, saucer and handle. There is no loss of paint or gold. There are no chips or cracks. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. For your consideration is a darling vintage handpainted underglaze duck & basket figurine marked on the bottom: Made In Occupied Japan. The basket is tan in color with a white interior, and the duck is all white with colors of dark blue, brown, goldtone, & green with black eyes & trim on beak. The duck is standing on a green grass like base. In excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks noted! Approx.: 3 1/4"T.
Vintage set of 5 Demitasse cups and saucers. Delicate translucent china has a pale yellow band with a design of flowers in gold. Very pretty set. In very good condition with no chips or cracks, there are one or two glazed over spots. They are marked on the bottom JAPAN in red. Cups measures 2" high x 1 7/8" diameter and saucers measure 3 7/8" diameter.
Up for your consideration is a lovely, rare piece. It has a green leaf dish with 4 raised areas that each hold 4 cigarettes. It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures tall and across. It is UCAGCO Occupied Japan and china. I in the US.

This lovely seed cup is porcelain done in a sage green luster glaze. The side is impressed Japan and the base is stamped "Made in Japan." You can barely see the impressed Japan on the right side of the cup in the first picture. The impress is a bit faint and the luster glares when photographed, so it is difficult to show it, but it is there as is the base stamp. The cup is 3 1/8 inch tall overall and about 2 1/4 inches wide. The tab on the back measures 3/4 x 3/4 inch. There are no chips or cracks in this

A Hand Painted Porcelain Flower Open Salt with Gold Trim on the Petals. The Hand Painted Porcelain Flower was Produced in Japan and has little Pink and Blue flowers painted on it. The Porcelain Flower measures 2 1/4 inches across and is 1 1/8 inches tall. The bottom of the Porcelain Flower is marked with the "Red Wreath Mark" and "Japan". I cannot make out the mark in the middle of the wreath. The little flower is in excellent condition.
This porcelain saucer is painted black and has hand-painted slipware flowers. It is marked with the Merit maker's mark and Occupied Japan. No chips or cracks to the porcelain and no mentionable wear to the painting. Very nice saucer to fill a set or as a replacement. Measures 4 7/8 inches wide.

I just love this little demitasse cup! I have affixed an old plastic flower frog to the inside of the cup, and it is holding an antique Victorian calling card. You could also put a photograph in it, or anything that you might like. The cup is marked with the blue letter "Japan". It is in.very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The card is in wonderful condition as well. A really cute up cycled piece!
These are 4 basketweave fruit decorated cups & saucers by Tilso, Japan. The cups measures approximately 2 1/2" high and 3 1/2" in diameter, saucers are 6" in diameter. They are decorated with very colorful fruit as well as the handle which is decorated with grapes. They are marked underneath and are all in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or crazing. Colors are vibrant. They don`t look as if they were used, they still have the foil labels and are numbered 53/493. Thanks for looking!

This a Vintage Hand Painted Tea Cup Set of 6 cups, and 6 saucers. The cups measure 3 1/2" in diameter, and 1 3/4" in height. the saucers measure 5 1/2" in diameter. Five are in excellent condition, One cup has a very fine hair line crack, and one saucer has a chip on the rim. The set is in blue with accents in black, white, and browns. the cups are hand painted with a windmill and swan water landscape. This is a set of 2 (2 cups & 2 saucers), porcelain Blue Danube (Onion) cups and saucers. Each is marked on the bottom with the old "banner mark" as depicted in the photos, indicating they are genuine Lipper "Blue Danube". The cups are approximately 2 inches tall and 3 inches across the rim, and the saucers are approximately 5 inches in diameter. They are all in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This is an old miniature novelty chamber pot that is only half there, hence the phrase on the side "for my half ass friends." Bottom is marked "Made in Occupied Japan." Very good condition with no chips or cracks or damage, but there is a bit of wear to the lettering on the side as pictured. Measures only 2 1/4 inches wide including handle so it probably should say for my tiny half ass friends.

vintage Japan lithophane porcelain snack sets, Mt Fuji tea cups and plates Set for six of vintage hand-painted Japan snack sets, with scenes of Mt. Fuji. The tray plates are marked Shofu - Made in Japan, and each of the tiny 2 1/4" tall cups has a lithophane geisha at the bottom when held to the light. These are all in very good condition, without chips or wear to the paint. There's a little soil marking to the unglazed china bottoms of the plates. Item #k6442
