From Johnson Brothers, this 8" cream soup dates from around 1900. It is ironstone pottery with a transfer underglaze. The pattern, Richmond, is a dark blue floral design accented with gold around the sides of the bowl and flowing a bit onto the bottom. The rim of the bowl is serrated and decorated with blue; there is a gold rim. This bowl is 1 1/2" deep. It is in excellent original condition and does not appear ever to have been used.

This is a beautiful example of the Johnson Brothers English flow blue pattern "Savoy." This piece is a soup bowl measuring 7 1/2" across by 1 1/2" deep. The design features a repeated four-leaf clover with a Celtic-looking border design and a center clover as well. The design is accented with gold. The pottery is a delicate semi-porcelain. This piece has been used very little and is in excellent original condition. The mark dates the bowl as after 1900, probably around 1910 or 1920.

Antique flow blue china, rimmed soup bowl, 10-1/2" across, heavily flowing vivid blue, rare and early, 1840s "Chinese Porcelaine" Oregon pattern by T.J.&J. The Wheeling Pottery Company of Wheeling, West Virginia wasized in 1879. Around 1890 the company introduced their "LaBelle" series of decorated white semi-porcelain ware. Included in this series, circa 1893 - 1903, was a flow blue decorated ware. This lovely bowl, which could be for cereal or soup, is from that segment. The decoration consists of embossed swirls, sprays of small flowers and delicate gold trim. The bowl measures 6 3/8" across and 2" in depth. The stamped mark is a flame with a eagle's head
This near flawless 1890s flow blue soup bowl is in the Clarendon pattern by Henry Alcock, a premier English china manufacturer. The art nouveau pattern is both floral and beautifully geometric, featuring a heart shape design that dances around the rim of the bowl, forming small cartouches with a flower center. The bowl is a heavy ironstone with a bright cobalt flow blue color and has no cracks or chips. It measures 10 1/4" across. There are a few utensil marks and one small nick on the rim (see the closeup

9 1/2 inches wide. Gorgeous blue bird and blueberry pattern with gold on a snow white base. Scallop shape and white hard translucent porcelain. Made by Clokie & Masterman of Yorkshire, England 1871-1885 as referenced in "Encyclopedia of Marks" by Arnold and Dorothy Kowalsky. Impressed marks only, C&M BS and either 382 or 582, which may be the date of March or May 1882. Condition: Excellent. Light to no signs of use. And the gold looks great.
