For your consideration is a beautiful milk glass basket in the Paneled Grape pattern by Westmoeland Glass Company. It was made from the 1950's to the 1970's and marked with the Westmorland logo. Paneled Grape was one of Westmoreland's most successful patterns. The basket features a grapes and leaves design with a split handle. The approx. measurement are 3-3/4" high by 4-3/4" long. Very good condition with no chips or cracks.
Here is a lovely set of four 8-1/4" round beaded edge, milk-glass, plates by Westmoreland Glass co. Done in fruit patterns. One is an apple, one a pear, one strawberry and one peach. All are unmarked, but, can be found in a book by Betty and Bill Newbound on Milk Glass. All are in wonderful vintage, collectible, condition having no nicks chips or cracks. Westmoreland Paneled Grape Pattern Paneled Grape is an extensive line made by Westmoreland Glass from 1950 to the 1970s. It is their line #1881. It was made in milk glass and milk glass with decorations. Some mint green was made, but not until 1979. This epergne base measures 5″ tall and is 6 3/8″ in diameter across the scalloped base. This item is a large center or fruit bowl in the "Della Robbia" pattern from Westmoreland Glass with the original foil label on the interior of the bowl. The piece is 3 3/4" deep, 11 3/4" in diameter, by 3 3/8" across the foot. The exterior of the bowl is adorned with a colorized band of pears, grapes, cherries, and apples with leaves around them. This vintage replacement Westmoreland Glass lidded candy dish features the Old Quilt Pattern. Its now retired since the factory closed its doors in January of 1984. This pretty plate & bowl were made by Westmoreland Glass in their open heart edge pattern. The bowl measures approx. 5" across x 2" deep and the plate measures approx. 7" across. The bowl has a very tiny nick inside rim and there are a few tiny marks on the inside bottom of the bowl with the largest about pin head size and raised like a little bump. The plate has one heart with an approx. 1/8" nick on the edge and another heart with an approx. 1/2" long flake off the top of it. It still displays very well
This Westmoreland Glass Christmas Holly decorated candy jar is marked with the WG intertwined mark; but is difficult to see.
