c1872 -1898 GORGEOUS ORNATE Victorian Silverplated Domed Butter Dish with Original silver rimmed glass insert tray. Remarkably this victorian item still has it's original beveled glass and silver tray insert and it is like new. The Tray held the butter on glass with ice placed in the well below the glass. The inside of this butter dome is gorgeous and LIKE NEW. It is almost as if it was used as a display piece and rarely if ever opened.
