This is a magnificent rolled edge 8? plate and creamer in the Creamware (Juvenile) Sunbonnet pattern made by Roseville Pottery, an early line introduced by 1910. As stated in Mark Bassett?s book ?In 1924 Roseville began using the Volpato clay body and glossy cream-colored glaze on its Juvenile ware. One reviewer noted, ?The line is naturally short, with baby plate, cup and saucer as leading items. The nursery ware carried four decorations ?a ducik, a dog, a little girl (Sonbonnet Baby) and Santa Clause.

This adorable Creamware plate has a rolled-edge, green band. ?Old Woman, Old Woman? decal, black Rv ink stamp. This is an early line introduced by 1910. This 8? plate is in excellent antique condition, there is mild wear to the dark ring around the green band, and a very tiny flea bite, as you can see in the photographs. There is a very tiny whole in the center of the plate, I don?t know what else
