Set of Three Austria Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons Signed MG. These are beautiful little demitasse spoons. Ornate scroll design on the front and the back of the handles of the spoons. The spoons are each clearly marked on the bowl for the smalls silver guarantee mark along with an MG for the maker. The spoons measure 4 1/4" long. They are in pretty good condition for their age. They have a nice patina with no dings or dents. The shaft on two of them have a slight bend. Could easily be straightened out. A

This is a very refined set of six 813 silver spoons from Turku, Finland. They have the form of Iris blossoms with leaves and branches gently tapering to an overall rounded bowl embellished with daffodil yellow gold. Gilding is front and back. All spoons are clearly stamped as shown for maker, country, silver content, town and year of production .Condition is outstanding with no major scratches or dings and surprisingly bright gilding. This set was made for the export market and is hallmarked so. They retailed from Guldsmeds Bolgets in Stockholm. A popular pattern these examples have the Jensen & Wendel mark and were made between 1945 and 1951. They measure 3-3/4", and weight 4.12 total t. oz.
