This item is a server in the "Country Garden" pattern from Stangl Pottery. The piece is 5 1/2" tall at the top of the gold tone handle, 10 1/8" in diameter, by 5 3/4" across the base. The decoration consists of a blue iris, yellow daffodil, and a red lily with green leaves and stems. The outer rim of the plate has a dark green stripe and a blue stripe with entwined lines as decoration, and the underside is brown. The server shows no signs of wear or damage of any type. This Stangl Pottery Thistle tidbit tray with gold tone metal handle is in excellent condition. The colors are shades of pink, green and brown on a beige background. The bottom of the dish is dark brown. The finish is glossy and there is no trim. The diameter of the tray is 10”.
What a beautiful piece of Stangl! Even if you don't smoke, this hand painted oval shaped pottery ashtray would make a beautiful display piece. This was produced by Stangl Pottery in 1972 according to the mark. The artist has signed the back with what looks like an M or H and a dash. The piece is also stamped 3926G , Canada Goose, Made in USA. There are four felt pads on the bottom. No damage. The piece measures 11" long, 8" wide, and 2" deep.

The Stangl birds made their debut in 1940 and were marketed until 1978. Collectors divide them into two groups; those made from 1940-1972 and those reintroduced on a limited basis from 1974-1978 after the death of J. Martin Stangl. The Stangl birds were loosely based on John J. Audubon's "Birds of America". The Stangl figurines were clearly decorative with much more vivid coloration. This is a pair of hand painted tufted titmouse bird figures made by Stangl Pottery. Their bird decorating department was used from 1942 through 1956. On the bottom of each, they are marked Stangl Pottery Birds in the oval Stangl logo with 3592 and initials MH-F. The F signifies that the painted at Flemington with casting and firing to bisque at Trenton. Two designers used this marking, Margaret Higgins Hall and Mary Gulick Hawke. The colors remain bright and shiny with no chips, cracks or rough edges
This Stangl Pottery Golden Grape cup, manufactured in New Jersey between 1963 and 1978, is in excellent conditon and appears to have never been used. The color is off white on the outside with a pattern of green grapes, leaves and band. The cup is 3" high and 3" from rim to rim.
Set of 4. Colorful country coffee or tea cups with saucers. Made by Stangl Pottery of Trenton, NJ. Marked Stangl Pottery, Trenton, NJ, Fruit and one cup is just marked Stangl. Almost 3 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 high. Saucers are 6 1/4. Condition: Very nice. Some have either a glaze bubble burst or tiny chip, sometimes it is hard to tell which. One is a paint speck and one is a sand speck.

This cup and saucer is in the highly collectible hand painted Stangl White Dogwood pottery on green. Stangl Pottery had its roots back to 1805, but it didn't become known as Stangl until a young chemist and designer from Germany by the name of Johann Martin Stangl brought new innovations to the company and later actually bought the company.
