This 1930's Redwing pottery bowl is in truly excellent condition. It is 3 1/2" high and 7" across, with a vertical reed pattern on the side and ring at the rim. The color is rich cobalt blue with a violet tint.There is very light crazing on the inner bowl and some wear, including a glaze flake on the bottom rim. It is a great piece for display or use.
Vintage 1950's square pink vase made by Red Wing Pottery. Vase stands 9 inches tall and is 3 inches square at the base and flares out to 4.75 inches at the top. The outside is pale pink with the Red Wing's traditional off white inside. At two inches from the bottom, the vase begins to go into a scalloped pattern (see pictures 5 and 6) at the top. The vase is free of any chips or cracks but the outside does show some crazing which is normal for a piece of this age.
A super Red Wing Pottery bowl, circa 1920, in light gray glaze which is further enhanced by blue and orange spatter decoration. A medium size bowl for mixing or serving measuring 4" in height and 7" across with narrow ribbed body and rolled rim. Unmarked, but definitely Red Wing. The base has an impressed "7 C". There are no cracks, chips or repairs. A great piece of stone-ware that rings like a bell when gently tapped.

Vintage Red Wing Art Pottery Peacock Vase #187. Beautiful soft green glaze brings out the detail of the peacocks sitting on a fence, repeated on four panels tapering up to the 2-1/4" d top. This lovely vintage piece from Red Wing's Art Pottery division was likely made in the 1940s. It appears on the front cover of the book Collector's Encyclopedia of Red Wing Art Pottery by B.L. & A.L. Dollen published in 2001. The vase is a pale or pastel pink with a white center. The vase measures about 7 inches tall and 9 inches from handle to handle. The vase has lovely scrolled handles and a leaf design on either side. The piece is marked but the mark is very very light. It says 1174 (the mold number) Red
A fabulous and hard to find Redwing pottery vase, number 1290. It has a graceful wing like shape on the top and distinctive layered leaf like shapes on the bottom. The lines are graceful and fluid. The color is an intense spring green, close to chartreuse but a bit more green. The inside is matte black. It measures 10" high by 5.5" wide, the base is 3.5". The white vases have a vertical horn of plenty with the base having large leaves. There are ridges on the horn and the base. This pair of vases are marked RUMRILL. Around the 1930's a salesman, George Rumrill, made a deal with Red Wing where he would sell their pottery around the country but under his last name "RumRill". This Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. 3 (gallon) Koverwate is a difficult to find. Koverwates were produced in the 1920 s and 1930 s. The blue lettering on this piece of stoneware reads: KOVERWATE (lettering is cut in half) USE IT WHEN PACKING YOUR MEATS-KRAUT-PICKLES AND OTHER FOODS PUT UP IN BRINE.
