This lovely footed and fluted berry bowl is marked on the bottom with the Nippon E-OH logo, indicating it dates to the very early 1900s. The bowl is decorated with carefully painted pink roses and greenery and has a red rim with tiny white polka dots. It measures 6.5" in diameter and 3" high and is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips but there are two rough spots on the rim. Check our pictures carefully for your best idea of condition.
This is an antique hand painted porcelain Nippon bowl. It features a wonderful design with flowers and a scrolling metallic gold work pattern throughout the bowl. The primary color is a very deep cobalt with a small white color in the middle, which contains almost a spider like design. There are small jade like colored jewels painted with raised beaded white flowers running along the scalloped sides. The designs against the deep cobalt give it almost a vibrant quality. Stunning Nippon Berry Bowl set in mint condition. Cobalt rim around all the pieces with heavy gold and raised gold beading. Panels have different scenes lined with raised gold beading. Main bowl measure's 10 1/2" across and 3" tall. The smaller bowls measure 5 1/2" across and 1 1/4" tall. This Morimura, Nippon hand painted bowl has the most fabulous colors! It looks like cloisonne, but it isn't. The heavy gold lines emphasize the beautiful array of colors. A vintage porcelain tray featuring cut out handles in the middle. The decoration is professionally hand painted with a smoky gray background and white roses. The roses are highlighted by yellow and orange centers. We see the rim is lined with black. The rising sun Nippon mark on the reverse helps us date this lovely dish to the late 1920s. Measuring just shy of 11" long x 7" handle to handle wide x 2" deep we find this to be in excellent vintage condition. There are no scratches to the interior nor breaks
This deep bowl with two handles is a good example of some of the best of Nippon. The dark colors contrasting with the fragile Open Rose flowers make a very pleasing picture. The handles were painted with gold and there is a little wear on the edges. The signature is on the right at the center under the handle. The open at the top green wreath with the importers intital M in the center (Morimura Brothers) is mark 47. The bowl is 3 inches deep and 5 3/4 wide.

This pretty bowl comes to you from the makers of Nippon. It has a lovely chase floral pattern that is yellow and gold gilt. The outside rim is a creamy white and the inside is pure white. This piece is marked "Royal Morriye Nippon" and measures 5" by 8" and 2 " tall. Moriage is the use of liquefied clay prior to firing that provided a raised outlining effect to the final product. This moriage in particular resembles violets and is referred to as "dried cake frosting". It is set against a satin neutral background. The feet of the bowl also have the moriage application. There is some wear to this piece from time, but is very rare and a great addition to any Nippon collection!

Antique Nippon RC Royal Crockery 7.25 inch handled bowl. Exquisitely done with Poppies in Art Nouveau style and Gold Embellishment. The Poppies are delicately painted with delicate shades of orange with Gold surrounding every petal and leaf. The Gold border is done on green back ground with Raised Paste and Gold Leaves which makes for a very elegant border to this gorgeous bowl. Bowl is in good used condition with a small v shaped crack on outside near handle. This does not show on inside of bowl at all.
