This is a one of a kind hand-crafted, "broken china jewelry" necklace. I created this piece by artistically repurposing the rim of a Lenox Liberty China pattern dinner plate. The colors on this china are wonderfully patriotic as the name "Liberty" suggests. Perfect and just in time for Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. Some very fine vintage 1930's Lenox dinner plates from the Lenox historical China line. The pieces in this pattern feature images of famous (and sometimes not-so-famous) Americans scenes and landmarks. They are printed with images designed by Minga Pope Patchin, who was a moderately famous illustrator in her day who did several sets of designs for Lenox (she was also architect John Russel Pope's sister).
