Wonderful Art Nouveau/ Aesthetic Period art pottery by Edmond Lachenal from France. It is an oval footed vase with pierced foliage. It is about 9" tall x 10" long and about 6" wide. It has a beautiful faience crackle glaze and you can see some bubbling on the glaze. There are some small glaze nicks on top and one foot looks damaged but it is all glazed so the clay popped in the kiln. Signed on bottom and quite a nice piece. I would date the piece from 1890-1915.

There is some wear to the dark blue paint, and to the orange edge line on the bottom of the plate. Below the flower stem is a nick. It has been glazed over, so was likely a factory flaw. On the backside is a 2 inch hairline, in the clear glaze finish. Please look at the photos carefully, and ask any questions, as this is beyond my
