This was Fenton's original pattern #1216. This pattern was first made in 1906. It is usually found in hat shape. This is a exceptional beautiful color with a satiny finish that makes many highlights of shiny color. The embossed berries and leaves shimmer and look like an unreal spray. Carnival is so beautiful and so mysterious. Rich enough for a king.

This lovely little piece is Fenton's version of the Grape and Cable Pattern. This pattern was so popular during the turn of the century; each of the major glass companies had their own version. This particular pattern is very hard to distinguish from Northwood's Grape and Cable however Northwood normally signed theirs with an N where the Fenton pieces are not marked. This bowl is in a very attractive pastel marigold with oodles of pink and pastel blue. It has 3 ball feet and Fentons ever popular ruffled

This gorgeous 5 piece Water Set was made by Fenton in the early 1900s in what they call Enameled Lotus. For the age the enamel; it is in extraordinary condition with only very minor ware. Most sets I have seen with this hand painted enamel normally have more ware than paint. However the pitcher does have a stress crack where the handle attaches to the pitcher and some sort of discoloring; almost like weathered paint on the inside of the neck. This is not easily seen without turning the pitcher and shining
While looking at the front of the gorgeous plate with it wide range of color it is hard to determine what the base color is. The front of the plate displays vibrant green around the edge while the center displays rich amethyst, purple, teal and gold. However when you turn the plate over it reveals its true identity in its bold cobalt blue center. I am convinced that once an iridescent finish is placed over cobalt blue you get a larger verity of color than with any other base. Our Fenton 12 sided Three
