This carved red bakelite bangle bracelet is vintage 1940's. It is a true Christmas sort of red, not pink red. It measures 3/4 of an inch wide and has a 2 1/2 inch inner diameter. The inner circumference measures 7 3/4 inches. The bangle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It has been worn so has some slight surface scratches.

Vintage Yellow Carved bakelite Bangle Bracelet
This wide, carved and heavy bakelite bangle bracelet is vintage 1940's. It is fashioned from "creamed corn" yellow bakelite and carved with deep circles are around the bracelet. This bracelet is thick and one of the heaviest I have ever had, it feels great. It measures 1 1/16 inches wide and 1/4 of an inch thick. The hand opening measures 8 inches around and 2 9/16's inches across. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some slight surface scratches but nothing at all important.

Fabulous collection of vintage bracelets to mix and match! The gold one passed the bakelite hot water test and I am pretty sure the olive green one is bakelite too. This wonderful vintage carved bangle has a deeply carved rose floral design. Measuring 3/8" wide with an inside diameter of 2 1/2" wide, the bangle is in great condition. The bracelet sure looks like carved bakelite however, as is common with some blacks, it does not test with simichrome and only has a very faint smell. It is definitely carved, not molded. Has the nice clunky sound when tapped together as my bakelite bangles. Either way, whether it is or isn't, it is a great vintage carved bangle. vjse#

Vintage Pair of Two Color Bakelite bangle Bracelets
These great looking spacers are vintage circa 1930s or 1940s. They are fashioned from butterscotch and red bakelite, I do not know if this is overdyed or not. The bangles measure 6mm wide and 1/2 inch deep and have the usual 2 1/2 inch opening across. They have some very light surface scratches which can be polished out with simichrome. Huge Vintage Chunky Rose Bakelite Bracelet 100 grams
This is a huge and gorgeous vintage bakelite bracelet. It is in a prystal and opaque apple juice, with a small amount of red marbling. It has deeply carved large and small roses, spin wheel flowers and leaves, with raised dots, between the designs. The bracelet is very chunky, at 1 1/2" wide, 2 1/2" interior diameter, and 3 1/2" outside diameter. It weighs a heavy 100 grams. I can get it on, but it is a tight 2 1/2" fit.
