I have seen this necklace carved in jade, but this stone is a beautiful alternative. The natural color is a pale olive green at the top which deepens into a soft brown at the bottom. The two mythical animals face each other and are intertwined. They are either engaged in warfare or are very close friends. The stone is carved on both sides, showing the same design. The pendant is 1 " long and wide, and the entire necklace is 22" long. The chain is a rope design in gold-tone. The closure is the lobster type.
