This lovely vintage (1970's) Napier 7-strand colors of the Caribbean Sea glass beaded necklace is truly one of the favorite things in the shop right now. With Summer on the horizon, this would look stunning with a crisp, white open-collar blouse, or that little black dress. Looks great against a blue or green tank top for a layered look. 15.50 inches in length with a 2.5 inch extender allows for this to be worn close to the neck choker style, or in a more relaxed way with the extender let out all the way.
Pastel shades of orange, yellow, pink, blue, and green make up the gorgeous glass beads. Every segment is separated by gold tone filigree pointed bead caps alternating with brushed gold tone round beads. The entire necklace is strung on the original metal chain. The clasp works well and has the NAPIER signature. None of the beads are chipped or cracked. I have not cleaned the piece at all, you may want to do so. There is some dust in between the glass beads and a minor amount of green discoloration around

This has a tag signed with Napier attached to the clasp. Alternating black and white and gold tone stones separating the stones, each square is a little over or 10mm each. The facets in the glass stones are smooth and finished. The clasp is a fold over clasp. It measures approximately 22 in length. This is a beautiful necklace that is in excellent vintage condition.
This necklace has drama and beauty. It is extra long with a large pendant and a tassel. The effect is simply stunning. Necklace has an intricate chain with many textured goldtone links. There are two pops of color along the chain. They are glass crystal beads in amethyst, emerald green and sapphire blue. The beads are about 11mm. Necklace clasps at the pendant in the front. With the signature in all capital letters, and the very high quality of these pieces, it is clear that this is a very early Napier set. The necklace is 16 inches long and the pendant bow portion with the dangle tassels is an additional 3 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. The gold tone chain is very nice quality and is twisted. This impressive Napier necklace is comprised of a cast Aztek mask in silver-tone metal with blue glass elements simulating turquoise. It was designed by Eugene Bertolli according to "The Napier Co." by Melinda Lewis, which shows a necklace using similar components on p. 448. This piece, according to supplemental information provided by Lewis, was part of the company's "The Look of Turquoise and Silver Collection" introduced in 1973. The central element measures just under 4 3/4" long including the dangles.
This exceptional necklace is an example of Napier at its finest. Marked on the hook and the end link, it is made of silver tone metal with four red glass bauble dangles and a center bauble gather.
