They have been enhanced to be a brighter orangy pink color which the Persians like best and have given them this enhancement for their own color palate. The Persians have always been great at trade and these coral beads have no doubt come from the nearby countries that harvest coral from the Mediterranean sea. This fabulous 1920s parure from a local estate is in excellent condition with no problems other than some age-related patina of the silver. It includes a 16" necklace, a 7" matching bracelet and screw-back earrings. All set with hand cut faceted blue opalescent crystals. The bracelet and Necklace clasp are stamped SILVER as shown. They are most likely Japanese origin and their silver is usually 950 silver. They have been tested meet the sterling grade. The stones are 12 mm that is nearly 1/2 diameter.

This lovely vintage bracelet, circa 1950's, consists of eleven individual square links each of which holds a bezel mounted, light amber, molded glass cabochon. The square, open-back links allow light to penetrate the glass settings. Each link measures 3/8" square and the bracelet measures 7 3/8" in length with a claw clasp. The clasp is stamped "925"; there is no other makers mark on the piece. Wonderful condition with no damage and has nice original patina.
