Small sterling silver pendant with dark patina finish and a 6mm white freshwater pearl on sterling silver chain. From our 'Pearl Pod' series, inspired by oak leaf galls, (see fourth photo), the pod began it's life as an orb that grows on an oak tree leaf. We took the gall off the leaf and cut it open in the front, cleaned it out, and placed a cup inside to seat the freshwater pearl.
