This wine is from Spain, Castilla Y Leon region, Toro sub-region. Rating This lithe red offers black cherry, cranberry, licorice and mineral flavors supported by light but firm tannins and fresh acidity. Smooth, balanced and focused. Drink now through 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 4,000 cases made. -TM Wine Spectator 89 points (Feb 28 2010) The 2006 has a similar aromatic profile to the 2005 but is a bit more compact and structured. It should round out with another few years in the cellar.
