    This Beacon II Camera was made by Whitehouse Products Inc. in Brooklyn NY in 1947. Has a metal bellows and tripod socket. Shutter fires and film advance knob turns. Very good vintage condition!     Beacon II - life size letterpress linoleum print

    This Bakelite camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products based out of Brooklyn, NY between 1947 and 1955 and used 127 roll film. This model camera featured a collapsible lens on a sliding metal bellows system and was flash compatible. This camera is one in my series of linoleum letterpress prints of vintage cameras. Each of the prints in this series is inspired by cameras in my personal collection and is painstakingly carved by hand at life size with as much detail as my tools and the linoleum will
