This 1949-D Washington Quarter is a very pretty MS-64 Near Gem. To start with there are almost no contact marks visible to the naked eye. That leaves plenty of room for your eyes not to obstructed by the beautiful light golden toning on the obverse which perfectly complements the luster. The tone on the reverse is must deeper and bolder. Its more of a light gold that wants to be red and has stopped about half way between both colors. This is a very nice 1909 VDB Lincoln Cent in Near Gem (MS-64) that is FW (Full Wheat meaning full mirror image separation of the lines and leaves in both wheat stalks with no interrupting contact marks).? I give the coin a Brown+ on the color due to the original glossy bluish tinge color which is original and very attractive.? I cannot bring out blue tone very good in my photographs especially when the blue is a lighter shade.? So although the coin pictured is the one you will receive keep in mind that it
