A jeweled watch movement sits under a glass stone within an brass crown prong setting along with a brass dragonfly, vintage ruby glass jewel and a vintage watch dial. The setting is attached to an brass filigree and hangs from brass chain. In asymmetrical fashion another brass dragonfly seemingly tries to reach the other of its kind. These stones are stunners, Unbelievabe purple fire that is hard to capture. I have set them in a very gothic brass setting with a heat oxidized patina. They weigh 3/8 oz. each. So they do have a bit of weight. They are not overly heavy, but some piercings need a lighter weight than that. They hang very nicely on, the stones face

This large lentil is 1.25" ( 26x29mm) and 14mm thick on a 3/32 mandrel. I've made a Double Helix silver glass twisty to feather across the ivory base. Silvered ivory dots help create the warm golden crackle effect. When I create organic beads it's fun to look at them the next day to see what the design evokes, here, I see a dragon looking back at me! These large lentils make stunning simple focals or are perfect "worry stones" to carry in your pocket.
