Elegant Glass of the Depression Era This lovely ruffled handled bowl, made by Cambridge Glass Company and decorated with the Rose Point etch, measures about 12 1/2" from handle to handle and 9 1/2" at its widest point. It stands about 3 7/8" at its tallest point and weighs over 2 lb. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.

This beautiful set is from the Cambridge Glass Company that originated in Cambridge, Ohio. This bowl and platter set is known as the Caprice Moonlight Blue. This is a depression era find that first originated in 1936. The word Caprice has been quoted "like the enchantment of rippling water," which is shown in the beautiful flow of ripples on the bowl and platter. The bowl is roughly 12" in diameter and 5"high.
