The red nylon loop is approximately 4" (10cm) long, and the brass coin is about 1" (2.5cm) in diameter. The cord is probably a little thick for cell phones, but can be easily looped onto purses, keychains, rearview mirrors, etc. The flip side of the coin has an image of Kuan Yin (Guan Yin, Avalokitesvara). The Chinese word for rat and mouse are the same. Years of the rat/mouse include: 1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008.
