Vintage German Vase 1940s Modern Butter Yellow and Brown Drip Ceramic Pottery Germany
This vintage German vase has a dainty look with its buttery yellow color - soft 'furlike' drip effects continue the theme. What a lovely vessel for your prized posies! Bands of gold surround the mouth and base. It is marked '81' in gold on the bottom. The word 'Germany' is obscured by the brown glaze. This is certainly a German made vase (late 1940s). It has a distinctly modern (mid century) shape and clean lines. It stands 3-1/2 inches (8.5 cm) tall, and is 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter across the bottom
