The Ansonia Clock Company of New York was one of the major 19th Century American clock manufacturers. They made clocks between 1850 and 1929. A nice antique Victorian era shelf clock. The clock features an attractive grain painted iron case and a pretty etched brass dial. It is decorated with scrolls and has lion paw feet. The clock is working, I have the pendulum but not the key, they are easy to find.
