Silvio Grasso Pi Vigne Barolo 2004 750ml E-mail to a friend| Wine Spectator 93 Points Description Typical garnet red color. The nose, too, is typical of Barolo, with ethereal notes of red fruit jam and aromatic herbs. The toasty aromas come from the French oak barriques where the wine spends 24 months maturing before bottling. Another 24 months spent in the cellar before release allowed the wine to continue maturing: on the palate it is dry and supple, with a good finish.
