Reviews WA 96-100 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate The 2002 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) has an inky ruby/purple color and a gorgeously sweet nose of creme de cassis and cherries intermixed with some vanilla and spice. The wine is opulent, full-bodied, with an unctuous texture and blockbuster finish with no hard edges. It seems to be on a faster evolutionary track than the 2001, but whos complaining? This is still a 15- to 18-year wine. WA 96 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate The 2002

Pride Mountain Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (a blend of equal parts Napa and Sonoma fruit) offers abundant quantities of creme de cassis notes, medium to full body, a big, beefy, smoky character intermixed with scorched earth, coffee, and blackberries, and a rich, dense, smooth style. Drink this superb Cabernet over the next 12-15 years. -Reviewed by Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
"Good full medium ruby. Crushed black fruits, licorice, sandalwood, tobacco and cocoa powder on the nose. Sweet and silky but juicy, with dark fruit and exotic spice flavors offering lovely inner-mouth aromatic character. This has a distinctly briary mountain berry aspect. The longest of these offerings, with ripe acidity and rather powerful tannins giving it a big structure." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (IWC, 05/01/2009) Rating: 93 return to top "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (95%
Delectable flavors of cassis, dark cherry, coffee and black tea layered upon a textural palate. After a barrage of up-front fruit, the inky liquid lolls on the mid-palate before finally exploding into a hefty, minutes-long finish. Pushing the limits of concentration as far as possible without sacrificing balance, this is the pure expression of mountain fruit a wine that needs no justification.

Reviews WA 92 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate The deep ruby/purple-colored 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (58% from Napa and 42% from Sonoma) possesses a full-bodied mouthfeel as well as loads of cassis fruit, and smoky, subtle oak in the background. Round, plump, and hedonistic, it should drink well for a decade.
