Olive Stoneware Bowl/Handmade Wheel Thrown Clay Pottery
This has got to be one of the most beautiful glazes I ever made. It is two glazes that interact with each other. The main glaze is a soft olive green and then an iron glaze was dripped and splashed to give a wonderful design. Bowl has a lovely bell shape. Would look good on display as well as for food. This bowl was thrown on the wheel and then it was fired twice, once for the bisque, and then with the glaze to a high cone 6 (2219 degrees) Food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe up to 500 degrees and

Jade Green Stoneware Bowl / Handmade Wheel Thrown Clay Pottery
This 6"x4" deep stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel. Then the foot was trimmed before it's first firing. Glazed in a rich deep turquoise,jade green with a swirl of glaze design for a beautiful effect. It was then fired again to a cone 6. Would have a multitude of uses in the kitchen, and would be lovely on the table filled with stuffing, mashed potatoes, or you name it. This durable bowl will hold one quart and is food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe up to 500 degrees.
