Lovely Wedgewood teacup pincushion with a frivolous pink fluffy "feather" trim. The pin cushion cup is in a super bright white Wedgewood bone china teacup with a classy gold band. There is a design inside the teacup which can just been seen on close inspection. In this novelty pin cushion, for a bit of fun, I have edged the teacup with a fluffy pink feather trim. The pin cushion is filled with polyfill inside a white and shocking pink cotton colored fabric. Great for the sewing room. The matching pins shown

And, hence its name is derived from its resemblance in hardness to the natural Jasper stone. It is decorated in the neoclassical style in light blue along with white accents and a leaf motif on the central band and laurel wreath

Impressed registry diamond mark and J. Wedgwood Ironstone China mark. A nice, clean example. Size: Approximately 9" high, Condition: Excellent. Tiny nick on rim of inner lid support, glaze crazing as is typical of this pattern. Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course,
