Hanky Burmel Christmas Print Paint Vintage Handkerchief
This is a lovely 14" white hanky still with the original Burmel sticker, which reads in part "Handkerchief of the Month by Burmel." Featuring a combination printed and painted design of Christmas trees and ornaments, with a stitched scalloped hem, it is just gorgeous. The only issue I see is where probably a price sticker has been removed from the back, please see photo. I have not tried to remove this, nor have I laundered it, since it does still have the original sticker. Please do remember that this is a

Very large 16" x 16" vintage hanky made special with contoured edges following the shape of its green leaves. This handkerchief is dark forest green, white outlines, a bit of tan outlining. This lovely hanky measures approximately 13.5" in diameter, and is a sheer chiffon type fabric. It is printed with red, all the white design is flocked onto the fabric. This 13" hanky is a combination print and paint design consisting of lots and lots of sweet violets surrounded by gold and green leaves. With the edge following the contour of the leaves and trimmed with white stitching, it is quite striking. This is one 14" cotton hanky, decorated with lovely printed Poinsettias with Bells and Snowflakes, which look to be partially hand painted. There's a bit of slight fraying on a couple of places around the edge, which I have shown in a photo, otherwise it is free of flaws, so far as I can see.
