What a great vintage belt or sash! The entire tie is a doubled over piece of material that has been machine sewn together, so the images on either side are slightly different. The entire pattern is lengthwise stripes of flowers on a purple background, or white checks on a gold background. Shawl is 4 inches (10 cm) wide by 6 feet (almost 2 meters) long. This could be worn as a sash belt or really long hair tie. All of my scarves are washed and ironed. Stains or damage, if any, are noted in listings.
