I designed this dress from a vintage textiles that I salvaged from a Victorian gown and a variety of laces, trims and treatments. The bodice is ivory silk with a deep vee ruched neckline and the flutter sleeves are from embroidered cotton batiste. The empire waistline is trimmed with many layers of embroidered cotton and linen that drape in a pleasing fashion over many more layers of cotton and silk.
