My 9-Patch Rag Quilted Purse/Tote is the type you see in the pictures. It has 9 squares on front and back of purse/tote. I have other variations of ePatterns available-please view my other items though they may not be on all the time! The 9-Patch Rag Quilted Purse/Tote pattern variations were written & designed by me. My husband, who is a professional graphic designer, created the .pdf document which includes step by step instructions along with clear graphics for each step. There is not a 5" square pattern

Large ZipTop Quilted Shoulder Bag Purse from Sew Darn Simple - Purple Pink and multi-colored Paisley Floral
The purse is large size (dimensions below) and has a zipper top closure. The body of the bag has been straight line quilted. The inside features one zipper pocket. The bag body is interlined with a heavy weight fusible interfacing that gives is body, without being stiff. The bottom has a heavyweight fusible interfacing that gives it the structure is needs. WAS 30 NOW 27 Hand Quilted and Appliqued Pink Purse With Circles
This cute purse was made of 20 individual motifs that are sewed up with batting one by one. Then I hand-appliqued the circles on them. Finally I connected all the motifs by hand stitches to make the pouch. And I sewed in a lining of the same color. I got this pattern from a Japanese friend of mine. The fabrics I used are cotton and the measurements are 8" (20 cm) L x 4" (10 cm) H x 4" (10 cm) W. It is great for storing your jewelry, or cell phone-digital camera chargers during travel. I use one for myself.
