Vintage FRENCH Beaded Purse... PURE ROMANCE FROM PARIS

This very lovely French, hand beaded purse was made in Paris around 1920. It is a thick, creamy silk, beaded with pale pink, blue, crystal and smoke colored glass beads. The intricate design features flowers and leaves, with a background of tiny white seed beads. Inside there are two sections, divided by a cream silk partition, edged with a miniature repeat of the cover design. Single snap closure. Reverse is beaded in white, with a portion left un-beaded for comfort against the hand . Minor wear both

French Yellow Hip Bag of sturdy upholstery fabric, purse

Medium sized over the shoulder bag that fits nicely on the hip. This Jacquard loom fabric is reminiscent of Provencal paisley and floral designs, red, mustard and steel blue on a sunny yellow background. The lining is 100% cotton fabric with a yellow background, small red flowers and pale green grid pattern. I have included a zippered pocket. Vintage French Image Tapestry Purse

This has to be one of my most unique finds ever! This vintage purse is unusual in every way. I can not find anything that compares to it on my online research. No markings or label. The closest I have come is that it resembles French Tapestry purse that is produced by La Marquise. The old world figures are stitched in raised relief like quilting.
