this bit of butterfly wing was, i promise, procured humanely. i found the entire swallowtail in the parking lot outside my niece's elementary school, dead after hitting someone's windshield and waiting sadly to be crushed. i rescued it, and cast it in resin, and used parts of it to form cabochons. (more examples to come.) so this pendant includes one of the butterfly wing cabochons, bezel-set in picture-wire, below which dangles a chain-draped .5" labradorite coin hung from hand-fabricated wire-work. the
